Virtual Dining Concepts (VDC), the restaurant company behind MrBeast Burger, has countersued YouTube star Jimmy Donaldson (MrBeast) for breach of contract, alleging that Donaldson used his massive online presence to “torpedo” the burger brand. VDC claims that Donaldson disparaged the brand and the company through damaging social media posts and sought more lucrative deals, which led to a decline in sales and damaged relationships with vendors and partners. Donaldson had previously sued VDC, accusing them of producing “terrible quality” burgers and stating that he couldn’t control the brand’s quality, leading to their legal battle.
