Bud Light Maker Anheuser-Busch To Lay off Hundreds of Corporate Staff
July 31, 2023
CNBC
Anheuser-Busch InBev, the parent company of Bud Light, has announced that it will lay off approximately 350 corporate employees, which represents less than 2% of its U.S. workforce. The job cuts will affect various corporate functions as the company aims to “simplify and reduce layers within its organization.” Bud Light sales have declined following a conservative boycott over its partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, and the company has faced backlash from consumers and is also under government investigation in Florida over a potential breach of shareholder duties.
